Hey, everyone!
In the last week, I’ve been putting off doing more posts, but I can’t help myself when it comes to tags. They’re a perfect filler, right? And since doing this one, I don’t feel so bad. 😂 So I found this tag on Elaine Howlin, and I knew I had to do it.
1. How many books is too many in a series?
I snorted at this question. One series I’ve read has thirteen primary books and many novellas and short stories. So let’s just say four or five is a good number.
2. How do you feel about cliffhangers?
If they’re handled correctly, I love them. But I feel too many authors depend on them so readers will read the next book. I prefer chapter cliffhangers over book ones.
3. Hardback or Paperback?
Both, but I’m starting to like paperbacks now. And I used to hate them.
4. Favorite book?
I hate this question. I have too many. But the one that stands out from the rest is White Oleander by Janet Fitch.
5. Least Favorite book?
I think we all know why I don’t like it. So I don’t need to repeat myself (phew).
6. Love Triangles, yes or no?
No, no, definitely not. No chance will I ever love this trope. It needs to die horribly.
7. The most recent book you couldn’t finish?
I simply couldn’t get past a few chapters. The author has a great background, but I didn’t love his writing.
8. A book you’re currently reading?
FINALLY, right?! I’ve been waiting for such a long time to get to the sequel, and I am loving every single chapter. I can’t wait to finish it.
9. The last book you recommended to someone?
I’ll always recommend this series. I just wish there were more books in it.
10. The oldest book you’ve read?
You can fight me, but this book is perfection.
11. Newest book you’ve read?
IT BROKE ME. I’m not okay. Not. Okay. My babies don’t deserve this pain. And I’m raging because I don’t have the final book.
12. Favorite Author?
Kelley Armstrong, Leigh Bardugo, V. E. Schwab, Sarah J. Maas, Marissa Meyer, Ariana Franklin.
13. Buying books or borrowing books?
I need to buy books since my local library doesn’t usually offer them until a year after the pub. date. If I relied on it, I wouldn’t be a blogger, now would I? 😕
14. A book you dislike that everyone seems to love?
I don’t particularly hate it. But I strongly dislike it if that makes sense at all.
15. Bookmarks or dog ears?
You heathen. Of course, I’d use bookmarks. I even bought a bookmark keeper to store all of them. 😂
16. A book you can always re-read?
The tension, the Feysand vibes, the plot twists, and the strength will always call me back to ACOMAF.
17. Can you read while listening to music?
Yes. I can also read while watching a movie or TV show. So basically, I multi-task, and I don’t know how I get anything done.
18. One POV or multiple POVs? (POV = point of view)
Either or. I love seeing what other characters are thinking, what they’re feeling, and how they see the same situation in a different light.
19. Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?
Most of the time, I read over several days. But some books have made me binge read within a day.
20. A book you’ve read because of the cover?
I first fell in love with the cover, but the story offers so much more than that. I can’t wait to read Evermore!
Tag time!
Okay, don’t feel obligated to do this tag. If you’ve already done it, or don’t want to, that’s fine. Now, if I haven’t tagged you, go for it! I loved this tag, and I hope to see what you all think! Have fun!!

Neither can I – sometimes it’s well executed but most of the time it just annoys me! 😊

I never knew they existed, but they truly are, especially for the special pre-order ones.

Pride and Prejudice IS perfection, I love the movie too! ❤ Now that you mentioned it, I totally agree that authors tend to use cliffhangers to ensure the readers will read the next book

Yesssss. It is!
I’m fine if that is how the story should end organically. A good example would be ACOMAF. But I find more and more authors are using it frivolously.

Thank you for the tag! I’m soooo jealous of you being able to read and listen to music at the same time! I always try it and I always fail! 😂 The only way I can read is with absolute silence, which is hard to achieve most of the time 😂

You’re welcome! Enjoy doing it!
Bahaha 😂 I used to be you when I was younger. It took me a long while to multitask while reading, and sometimes I still trip myself up. I once talked to my book instead of replying to my Mom. 😅
