Disney Channel Halloween Movies Tag

Morning, book lovers!

This weekend, I needed a little “me time,” so my blog had to wait. And now, I am back with one of my favourite posts!

I adore Disney Halloween movies, so when I found this one on Bibliophagist, I knew I had no choice. Sara didn’t tag me, but she is one of my favourite bloggers to follow, so I definitely recommend heading to her blog to see what she’s up to next!

Rules

  1. Tag the creator (bookprincessreviews) of the DHM Tag.
  2. Thank the person who tagged who.
  3. Answer the questions.
  4. Tag five more people.

Halloweentown | Where is your favourite place to go for Halloween or a place you want to go?

I’d love to go back to Wonderland’s Halloween Haunt, when it was scary, and workers with chainsaws chased you around. But that place has gotten tame in the last few years.

One place I’d love to see is Disneyland at Halloween. I’ve seen some photos, and I think I’d die there. It’s so pretty.

Under Wraps | What’s something that used to be scary to you, and then you realized it wasn’t just the mummy in this movie?

I LOVED watching Are You Afraid of the Dark?, but I couldn’t watch it in the actual dark. Odd, right? But as I listen to the theme song, no wonder why I couldn’t. 😂

Tower of Terror | What is the scariest place you’ve ever been?

When I was a teen, I went to Phantom Farm, a local attraction. You go through a haunted barn and want nothing more than to claw your way out of it. Imagine yourself walking through an insane asylum combined with a butcher’s torture room. I screamed a little too much there.

Twitches | If you could be any supernatural creature, what would you be?

It’s a toss-up between Fae and witch.

Don’t Look Under the Bed | Were you scared of monsters when you were a kid? When did it stop?

I wasn’t too thrilled with ghosts. The whole concept of a ghost haunting you or your house never sat well with me. So I’m not surprised poltergeist movies give me a fright sometimes. I still haven’t gotten over that creep factor.

Phantom of the Megaplex | Do you watch scary movies? If so, what is your favourite or the one you got most afraid of?

Yes, yes, yes. I’ll pick the one that scared me the most: The Conjuring. The overall movie freaked me out. And let me tell you that this feat is hard to achieve. I’ve seen many horror movies. But this one still scares me.

NOPE. I WILL NEVER TRUST ANOTHER DOLL IN MY LIFE.

The Scream Team | Who would be on your dream team if you went on a ghost/supernatural creature hunt?

Duh, Dean and Sam Winchester. Those two will fight for anyone. And they look good doing it. 😉

Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire | Have you ever witnessed something/someone that could only be explained by the paranormal? If yes, what/who?

So I don’t talk about this part of my family. But my great grandma died in my family home, the one I live in now. Actually, she died in the same room I’m currently in. One day, I walked down the stairs to the basement pantry and saw her ghost. I screamed and promptly ran up like you wouldn’t believe. I legitimately screamed, which I wasn’t sure I could do. It still gives me the chills thinking about it.

Tag Time!

Don’t feel pressured to do this post. If you have the time to squeeze it in, link back to my post! I’d love to see your answers.

And since I wasn’t tagged, if I haven’t tagged you, but you want to do this one, go for it. Don’t let me stop you. Have fun, ghosts and ghouls!

  1. Oooooh Siobhan, this was so interesting to read! Your story about the ghost totally gave me chills. I can’t even imagine. D: And dolls are a big nooooooooooooooo for me. Dean and Sam are totally the ultimate ghost busting duo (although I mean, maybe they can get the Ghostfacers in on the action?). And I’m officially crossing The Conjuring off the list, since that is all nopes for me. Great answers, and thank you for doing the tag!! 🙂

    • I think it took me a month or more to go down again.

Nuh uh. I won’t go near one. I don’t know why there’s always something weird about them.

The Conjuring is one horror movie that still gets my heart racing even if I’ve seen it 10 times already. And the sequels are just as bad.

  2. I’m a fake Halloween fan, I only watched three of these movies! I also loved your answers, especially when you talked about your ghost story. I’ve had multiple paranormal experiences in my house (which can’t be explained by logic) and my mom has actually encountered a ton because she travels for work a lot so she has to stay in a lot of old hotels (she had an incident with a demon dog!).
