Is it another Tuesday? Time is speeding up too quickly! With all of your help, I’ve expanded my comfort zone, explored new authors and storylines, and discover such amazing worlds. So I’m excited about this latest post.
Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. Now for this week’s topic, we highlight new authors we’ve read last year. I already love so many authors as it is, but I’m glad I was able to squeeze these authors’ work on my shelves!
I hope you all enjoy!
Holly Black
She’s the fae queen. And I should have read her books sooner. Holly isn’t afraid to show the dark side of the fantasy world. And I’m so happy I took a risk with her Folk of the Air series!
Jay Kristoff
What else can I say about this man? He made love science fiction. And finally, I’ve found an author who loves cuss words as much as I do.
Tate James and C. M. Stunich
I think the universe already knows my love for Tate. So it’s no surprise that she introduced me to another RH author. While I didn’t love their co-authored title, Dark Glitter, as much as Tate’s other work, I can’t wait to read more from Stunich.
Marie Lu
Even though I have some issues with Wildcard, I can’t help but still love her writing. Marie knows how to create a beautifully written world. I hope I enjoy her previous series so I do with Warcross.
Tricia Levenseller
Pirates, sirens, and feminism? Can an author possibly add all those elements in one series? Well, Tricia has pulled that off, and I’m counting down the days to her next Vikings series.
Sierra Cross
I may have read only one of her books. However, it has been stuck in my head ever since though. I just hope she’ll finish Spelldrift. I never thought I’d get into another witch-themed series, but I love this one.
Which Jay Kristoff book do you recommend reading first?
This is my Top Ten Tuesday post.

I love Holly Black – I read her fae series years ago and I think it’s what led me to read much more UF. I recently read and really enjoyed the Cruel Prince and now just waiting for a slot to pick up the Wicked King.
Lovely list.

Holly Black was on my list last year because I read her for the first time in 2017. I honestly don’t know why it took me so long!
