Book Blogger Confessions Tag

Morning, book fam!

I wish weekends were longer than just two days. Three would be optimal. We all need more time to read or to hope we will read, when in reality, all we do is waste time, thinking of doing just that. Am I right?

Okay, I found this great tag on Bibliophagist. Sara hasn’t tagged anyone in particular, so I thought I’d take a chance at this.

I hope you all enjoy the post and have a great weekend!

Rules:

  1. Answer these questions truthfully.
  2. Once you’re done, tag 5 other book bloggers to answer these questions next.

Which Book, Most Recently, Did You Not Finish?

Before my Mom went into surgery, I planned to be a part of the Canadian blog tour for this book. But with one of the main character’s father finding out his cancer was back, I couldn’t get into the story. It hit too close for me. I loved the writing, but I was not in the right frame of mind at the time.

Which Book Is Your Guilty Pleasure?

Reverse harems and paranormal romances! I have no shame either.

Which Book Do You Love to Hate?

Need I say more? I’d rather watch someone rip out all my nails than read this trash. And to hear she’s writing a new series just angers me more.

Which Book Would You Throw into the Sea?

I don’t mind when authors find inspiration from other novels. But when they blatantly copy a well-known story—in this case, it’s the One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest—then I cannot support that writer. Period.

Which Book Have You Read the Most?

I adore this book and the author. I’m not sure if the author’s daughter will finish the book since Ariana died. But I’d love to see the end of this beautifully written series.

Which Book Would You Hate to Receive as a Gift?

Well, I may go to hell for saying this, but if anyone gave me a Stephanie Meyer book—or worse, an E. L. James title—I may smack the person with it. I cannot stomach either of the authors.

Which Book Could You Not Live without?

Which book Made You the Angriest?

Don’t get me wrong: I love the way Holly writes. I just detest Taryn and Locke. I truly hope the latter dies by Jude’s hand, and the former fades into loneliness.

Which Book Made Your Cry the Most?

Kristin ripped out my heart and crushed it.

Which Book Cover Do You Hate the Most?

I don’t mind the simplicity of the design. However, I loathe the colour scheme, which detracts from the story itself.

  1. Great post! Definitely see what you mean about the cover for The Handmaid’s Tale sequel. It’s ugly, and that green is awful. Perhaps I’m just a purist 😛
