The Wanderlust Tag

Morning friends and fam,

I always get thrilled when I see book bloggers growing and expanding their sites. I am happy to find out that Lexie has created her first tag! And she happened to tag me in it. I want to thank her for doing so. Sending my love back to you, deary. So let’s get to it.

The Rules

  • Mention the creator of the tag and link back to original post [Alexandra @ Reading by Starlight]
  • Thank the blogger who tagged you
  • Answer the 10 questions below using any genre
  • Tag 5+ friend

Secrets and Lies | A book set in a sleepy small town

One aspect of this modern gothic is Cainsville, a town the Fae hidden to protect their own. I absolutely love how the town itself becomes a character you can’t help but adore.

Salt and Sand | A book with a beachside community

Not the kind of beachside read you were anticipating, right? Yeah, I am not a rom-com reader, so I doubt I’ll read a story near a beach. But Adrienne’s debut wants me to go back into the Viking time.

Here There Be Dragons | A book with a voyage on the high seas

I haven’t read many books set on the sea. However, this one has stuck with me for such a long time though. No wonder Elian loves the ocean.

Tread Lightly | A book set down a murky river or a jungle

Thankfully, my Alaskan trip was a passing fancy. But I think this title made me rethink travelling on my own, especially when my heart dropped out my mouth when I read some of those river scenes.

Frozen Wastes | A book with a frostbitten atmosphere

There is no other series that makes me question if I truly want to travel up North. But this hidden village surrounded by never-ending snow and ice will put the fear into anyone. If not, the possible killers will.

The Boonies | A book with rough or isolated terrain

Serina, the once groomed potential Grace, has such a intriguing character development. The way she not only survives but also thrives at Mount Ruin is inspiring.

Hinterlands and Cowboys | A book with a western-esque setting

A gunslinger fantasy? How have I waited so long to read it? Yes, it’s still on my TBR, but I’m definitely moving it up on the list.

Look Lively | A book across sweeping desert sands

I am LOVING this book. I’m almost finished, and I can’t wait to see how it end.

Wild and Untamed | A book set in the heart of the woods

Enchantment somewhat beat out Wicked King. But the atmospheric tone in the writing is simply gorgeous.

Wildest Dreams | A whimsical book shrouded in magic

Who else is excited about the finale?! Okay, I haven’t read the second or third sequels yet. But I love the magic system in this series. And I can’t wait to see the queens take down the establishment.

I Tag

Since this tag is new, I’ve tagged more than just five bloggers. If you’re too busy or don’t want to this post, don’t feel pressured. If I haven’t tagged you, and you want to do it, go ahead. I hope you all have fun!

  1. Thank you, thank you Siobhan for spreading the word about my tag! I loved reading all of your answers and finding some new books to add to my TBR [like I need anymore haha!]. I think you’ve sold me on Sky In the Dead and Mirage! x

  2. Awesome tag! Mirage was a great read and I loved the Rebel of the Sands series! I feel both of these are underrated and less heard of, but definitely a solid read.

  3. Thank you so much for the tag! This is so fun, I haven’t seen this one before. 😀 I hope you love(d) the rest of Mirage! That one was so good. And YES to Enchantment! It’s one of my favorite books of all time and I’m actually rereading it right now and adoring it all over again.
