I am in a blogging slump right now. I first start writing a post, thinking I’ll finish it in no time. Then I get stuck, and I go to the next tag post in my Drafts. But hey, at least I have something to publish. 😂 I’ll be happy when the weekend arrives.

A book that a certain friend always tells you to read

I’ve had my eye on this series for years. I never got into it, even though a friend constantly recommends it to me. But I don’t know why.

 

A book that has been on your TBR forever, and yet you still haven’t picked it up

Yes, I picked this book up because it gave me major Red Queen vibes. However, I do need to thin out my TBR pile.

 

A book in a series you have started, but haven’t gotten round to finishing

Why am I so hesitant on finishing the series? Maybe, although I loved the first book, I hated some of the tropes the author used.

 

A classic you have always liked the sound of, but never actually read

I don’t know how I survived high school without reading these two classics. But since governments around the world are, well, going to hell, it seems like the right time, yes?

 

A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet

I know Tom Ellis doesn’t necessarily fit the description of Lucifer, but he makes up for that though. I adore the TV adaptation and hope to finish it soon.

 

A book you see all over Instagram, but haven’t picked up yet

I want to thank the book gods for offering us this gorgeous specimen. Before the book’s publication date, all I saw was bookstagrammers raving out Sanderson’s latest novel. Now, I understand the hype.
