I am loving this month’s topics. Now, for my third post, I wanted to put my own personal spin on the new theme. You know me. I never like doing anything easy. 😂
Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. This week’s prompt is all about rainy day reads. What does that entail? Anything and everything. So here are my future picks for rainy days.
I hope you all enjoy!
May I spend a bit more time staring at the cover, please? I am in love. Roar has been one series I’ve been wanting to binge read for a long while. Any elemental magic is the perfect choice for a dark, stormy day.
Tattooist of Auschwitz
Am I ready to read this book? No. But I can’t stop reading WWII-themed novels though. I want to learn every single detail about this era. And knowing Heather’s book discusses true stories just makes me want to read it more.
Rachel and Ann surprised me with their Honor Among Thieves. So I can’t waste a chance on getting back to this intergalactic tale. Sentient alien ships, complex characters and relationships, and compelling storytelling are what make this series stand out.
I doubt the reverse harem community has stopped talking about Kristy’s the Dark Side series. It’s obviously not for the faint of heart. But I want to dedicate an entire day to this book, so bring on the rain.
The Alice Network
Kate’s latest book, The Huntress, just hit the stores. So I may need to catch up on this one before I get to that. I always push back historical fiction so I can get to the new releases. But I need to squeeze this on my immediate to-read list.
My new favourite series will always be on this list. Vishous may be one of the most intriguing characters in the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I’m itching to see how his story turns out.
