Top Ten Tuesday | Books on My Summer 2019 TBR

Happy Tuesday, dearies!

Too many recently released and upcoming titles are seducing me. This list is not helping right now! I shouldn’t complain though. I knew this topic was coming up. But I want to take some chances with my reading picks though.

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. This week’s prompt is books on our summer 2019 TBR. I think I’ll just keep my list to six titles, or you may be here all day. 😂

I hope you love my choices and find new reads! Enjoy.

I haven’t ventured into bully romance yet. I’m still debating that decision. However, Coralee and Raven are seriously tempting me here. Coralee is an auto-buy author now, so my expectations are high.

Soul of Stars

I say I want to read more sci-fi. And while I’m slowly making a dent in my list, I just see more titles to add to my pile. I don’t care if I haven’t read the first book yet. I need this space retelling in my life.

Queen of Ruin

Okay, you all know that I loved Grace and Fury. So I see no reason to skip the sequel. I need to know how the sisters survive, how they overthrow the government, and how I’ll try to convince myself not to cry while reading all this.

Broken Wings

Another bully romance? Really, Sib? In my defence, I love Tate and her work. So I won’t miss this one. And I have a thing for fast cars.

This choice is a given, right? Damn straight!I’ve been cranky since I finished Lifel1k3, and there is nothing stopping me to dive back into this mix-match retelling. And frankly, I just need more Kristoff in my life even if I see tears, sorrow, and heartache.

Honor Bound

I bloody loved Honor Among Thieves! I cannot get enough of this space saga. You don’t know how refreshing it is to see characters swear and be utterly human. And plus, I adore Nadim.

  1. Lifel1k3 is one of the Kindle Monthly deals this month, so I picked it up over the weekend. Don’t know when I’ll get around to reading it, but hopefully I like it enough to want to read the sequel too! I hope you like these books.

  2. Great picks. It’s a real struggle with these topics being tempted to add new books to your tbr. In my list I chose to go for books I’ve owned for a while and some that were available on my audiobook app. Happy reading!

  3. Great list! I still need to get into Grace and Fury and Lifelike, but the sequels sound awesome too.

  4. Do you know if Queen of Ruin is the last book in the series or is the author planning on more books? I kind of have a love/hate relationship with Grace and Fury because I loved the book but I absolutely hate cliffhanger tactics like that, but at the same time it worked because I want to know what happens! In other words I am super pissed at it but I will read it anyway because I hate not knowing what happens haha.
