You don’t know how much I need this long weekend. The renovations were bloody torture, and I am desperate for a break. We Canadians will soon be celebrating Canada Day. So I win on that front.

In Another World
A Shadow of the Fox was a bit of a disappointment for me. I wanted to love it, and perhaps I was too critical of it. But I want to give the sequel a chance. I love the overall world Julie has created though and want to see what happens next.
Back on Earth
Even though Black Dagger Brotherhood is set in an urban fantasy setting, Ward has crafted her own world within ours. I cannot get enough of her worldbuilding. But I have too many sequels to finish. And the task feels so daunting.
