Morning, my darklings!
Gasp! I’m doing a romance tag. Really? Two years ago, I would have given you a hard no on that. But my reading habits have drastically evolved. And I am a better reader for it.
My evil and better twin, Jess, from Fiction No Chaser, tagged me. Damn you for making me do a hard tag. But I love you. You need to check out her post and blog. 😉 You’d think that five couples would easy to pick. They aren’t. It took me several days to finish this post. So good luck!
- Thank the person who tagged you and create a pingback to the original author – Nel at Reactionary Tales.
- Share at least 5 (but more are welcome) romances that tugged your heartstrings. They can be from books, movies, TV shows, manga; anything you can think of! They can be examples of sad tears, angry tears, happy tears or a combination of all three.
- Nominate 5 (or more) people to share their emotional traumas
- (Note: Try not to spoil the story for your readers in case they would like to check out these romances on their own)
Dante and Donatella
I’ve waited over three books. And I’m not disappointed. I just wish we had more sequels though. Okay, at first I thought Dante was shady. And I wanted to push him out a window. But, BUT Dante’s and Tella’s fire match. And while I liked Jacks, I enjoyed the love story of Tella and Dante.
Elisabeth and Nathaniel
They’re my new favourite OTP. I didn’t know I’d love their story as much as I did. He’s a broody sorcerer, she’s an apprentice, and they shouldn’t mesh. At all. They fought their attraction though. And oh god, Silas kills me with his commentary. All I wanted to do was push their heads together and force them to smooch.
Jude and Cardan
This series may push me into bully romance, which I’m scared of reading. But Jude and Cardan make it look flawless. Elfhame has left a mark on both of them. I didn’t know how I feel about the duo still. My two babies love hurting each other (and me in the process). And I don’t know how I’ll survive the last book.
Kit and Austin
I have three favourite men in this series: River, Cole, and Austin. Each one of Kit’s men brings out a strength in her. But I love these three. And frankly, Austin annoys me to no end, but the way he has fought for Kit and their team is heartwarming. Frankly, I’ll fall for any bad guy.
Manon and Dorian
You thought I’d talk about Aelin and Rowan, right? No, my dark heart screams for these two. They suffered at the hands of their family. They’ve clawed their way through hell. Then they somehow found each other. I’m getting mushy, but I adore them.
Strider and Kaia
THESE TWO BROKE MY HEART. I don’t know what’s with me and cocky characters. But these two mesh so well that I was screaming for two more books about them. One title isn’t enough.

Thank you for the tag! I’ll make sure to do it as quickly as I can.
I loved Dante and Donatella’s relationship as well! They’re made for each other.
As for the other ones… I still haven’t read them, though the Cruel Prince is definitely on my shelves!

Thank you so much for tagging me! I didn’t know that Dante and Tella end up getting together! (But that’s just because I haven’t read the rest of the books yet, only Caraval). I can’t wait to read about that!
