Morning, everyone!
I’ve been catching up on reading lately. And it’s so satisfying to see I’m on track for my reading challenge. I don’t know if I’m thrilled about that or the local fair coming this weekend. My priorities are a little skewed, don’t you think? 😂
Hamad from Book Prescription tagged me last year. Now, I may be a little behind, but I thought I’d do this tag since it looks like fun! I want to thank Hamad for tagging me. I’m sorry I’m late!

Request | What Makes You Want to Request a Book on NetGalley?
I’ll tell you all now that even though I’m signed up for NetGalley, I haven’t used it at all. So when I request books from publishers, I usually look to see what the publicist’s assistant says about a title, if they promote further than just the catalogue, and if they separate it from other titles. I also look at the cover and for potential advance reviews.
Feedback Ratio | Do You Review Every Book You Read? If Not, How Do You Decide What Books to Review?
HA! I’m behind on my reviews, so I’d have a horrible ratio on NetGalley. I truly would. Before I got into a review slump, I’d usually review 95% of the books I’d read. I wouldn’t review all books from certain books like old backlist titles.
Badges | If You Could Create One Badge to Display on Your Blog, What Would It Be for?
Mental health advocate! I’d be so proud of owning that badge. You don’t know how much I’d love to have that displayed on my front page.

2019 NetGalley Challenge | What Was the Last Book That You Received as an ARC That You Reviewed? If You’ve Never Received One, What’s the Last Book You Reviewed?
I still need to read these two titles, but I’m stoked to own physical ARCs of these!

Thanks for the tag! I’ve actually never requested an arc directly from a publisher before. I’ve only ever used netgalley. How do you go about that?
