Top Ten Tuesday | Books on My Fall 2019 TBR

Happy Tuesday, bloggers!

Who is excited for this post?! Ah, I’ve been eagerly waiting for this post. Sure, our TBR piles and lists may be overwhelming, but we get splurge for another publishing season. And I don’t care what anyone says.

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The last prompt is books on my Fall 2019 TBR.

Enjoy the read!

The Beautiful

I thought I’d sworn off vampires. But I got back into that genre though. So I hope I love this YA title. When I heard it’s set in New Orleans, I had no choice in the matter. Vampires, New Orleans, and I always mesh together.

The Ninth House

I’m still debating on this book. A part of me wants to read it because I love Leigh’s work, and I want to see how she dabbles in the adult genre. But the other part may be more hesitant to pick it up. I may need to be mentally prepared for the book.

The Queen of Nothing

I’M NOT READY. I’M NOT. I’m glad to see this series end. But the ending is what I’m dreading. I don’t know if Jude will survive or my tail-whipping little faerie king, Cardan, will as well. I just want a happy ending, but does Holly ever give us that?

The Bone Houses

I need more Autumn vibes. Zombies, orphans, and a curse are always a great blend for a next great read. A few members of the book gang are planning to buddy read, which I’m in desperate need of!

There Will Come a Darkness

My book gang hasn’t stopped talking about this book. So I moved it up on my TBR list. I love the whole rag-tag vibe I get from the blurb. And I cannot wait to see how the story turns out.

Supernova

My babies. My precious babies are fragile, and I don’t want this world to tear them apart. I’m not sure if I can finish the series. But, but I want to see what happens with these beloved characters.

  1. The first three books on your TBR are on mine too.

I always figure if I don’t like the ending (or want more) I can always write fanfiction. ;-). So I’m looking forward to The Queen of Nothing.

  2. I still haven’t read Renegades! I don’t know why, I really like Marissa Meyer’s books and I should read it. I should, shouldn’t I?🙈
Most of your other books don’t really seem familiar but I hope you have great fun reading them. 😀

  3. Vampires have been a touchy subject for years, it seems. I am hoping Ahdieh makes me fall in love with them again. It’s gotta be good when the setting is New Orleans, right??? I’m feeling the same type of way about Ninth House. I love Leigh and her work, but I’m a bit nervous.

I Still need to read The Cruel Prince 😬 (which is on my fall TBR). And I have The Bone Houses on my list too! Seems like a good Halloween-y read.
