Happy Tuesday, readers,
We’re just into November. And I’m not okay with that fact. I’m so behind on everything, and I truly mean that. So coming into this month is a shock. Hopefully, I’m not alone on that.
Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The first November prompt is books that give off autumn vibes. What’s that? Well, that is books with an autumn atmosphere, scenes, or colours on the cover. I want to highlight books I’ve been meaning to read or have already read.
I hope you all love this post!
The Lantern’s Ember
I’m still regretting not getting a copy of this book. It’s the ultimate fall read. And I adore how the cover conveys its own story.
Bargaining with the devil doesn’t, if not ever, go well. And you get that spooky feel in Strange Grace. I’ve wanted to crack open this book for months!
We’re back to school in this dark high school RH read! I loved Void, so I knew I had to read Wicked Webs. The prequel revolves around Motley, a lowly vampire, who is forced to be possessed by a deadly demon. Tempting isn’t it?
Tunnel of Bones
A little girl with a ghost friend will give off these vibes, right? Of course. This duo may be one of my favourite cast of characters. And the way they always get in trouble, when Jacob tells Cassidy not to, well, you know you’re in for a treat.
Regaining the balance in a deadly world, how could Scythe not be on this list? I’ve been intrigued by the whole premise of the book. No hunger or disease, this world now relies on scythes commanded to end life to regain balance. Murdering teenagers might seem morbid, but I want to read it.
Alone in the Wild
The entire series is for autumn. Surrounded by endless forests and constant threats will do that. I love Kelley’s writing in this world. It’s one of my faves. And I cannot wait for the finale!
