I Dare You Book Tag

Morning, bloggers!

I’ve been away from blogging lately, but I missed you all. So I’m back (mostly). I found this tag on Life of a Literary Nerd. If you haven’t read her blog, you need to head over there and show Danielle the love she deserves!

Enjoy the read!

What book has been on your shelf the longest?

I know. I KNOW that I need to read the entire series. But I haven’t gotten to it.

What is your current read, your last read, and the book you’ll read next?

What book did everyone like, but you hated?

I wanted to love this RH motorcycle club book, but it mostly fell short.

What book do you keep telling yourself you’ll read, but you probably won’t?

It’s honestly been so long since I read the other two books that I don’t remember what has happened. So I wonder if I’ll ever get around to this book.

What book are you saving for retirement?

I’ve read some parts of Paradise Lost. But I think I need to be much more mature and older to truly appreciate the book.

Last page: read it first, or wait ’til the end?

I’ll probably sneak a look. I’m horrible that way.

Acknowledgment: waste of paper and ink, or interesting aside?

As a reader, I rarely get to that page. But someone in the publishing industry, I see why it’s needed. So I’ll continue to fight for it.

Which book character would you switch places with?

Have you seen some of the books I’ve read? I wouldn’t swap places with anyone for any reason.

Do you have a book that reminds you of something specific in your life? (place, time, person?)

Surprisingly, the main character reminds me a bit of my Mom.

Name a book that you acquired in an interesting way

Even though this adult shouldn’t have touched my hands, my English teacher gave it to me.

Have you ever given a book away for a special reason to a special person?

No. Nope. Nada. I do not give away books for any reason to any person.

Which book has been with you most places?

HA! I don’t usually go out with my books. I prefer to read at home since I get too distracted.

Any “required reading” you hated in high school that wasn’t so bad two years later?

Used or brand new?

New.

Have you ever read a Dan Brown book?

Unfortunately. But he is a good writer though.

Have you ever seen a movie you liked more than the book?

Practical Magic and Princess Bride!

Have you ever read a book that’s made you hungry, cookbooks included?

Aelin makes me want to drown in chocolate. I thoroughly blame Maas for this.

Who is the person whose book advice you’ll always take?

My book squad. You know who you are, and I love you.

Is there a book out of your comfort zone (e.g., outside your usual reading genre) that you ended up loving?

I’m not a huge taboo reader, especially a teacher-student one. However, Cora makes me love everything she writes, so I’m not surprised.
