Top Ten Tuesday | Authors Who Have a Fun Social Media Presence

Happy Tuesday, bloggers!

And I’m back! Authors and social media presence don’t always mix well. Some are great at it, and others are, well, not so.

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The next prompt is authors who have a fun social media presence!

Enjoy the read!

Leigh Bardugo

Leigh reaches out to her many readers on her several media platforms. You can see her on Twitter and Instagram. And she shares anything from book-related posts to beautiful illustrations. She’s one of the few authors I’ve followed on Twitter.

Jay Kristoff

Kristoff isn’t a normal author. He swears, shares dirty illustrations of his characters, and isn’t afraid of protecting his fellow authors and friends. I love his Twitter page.

Rick Riordan

I’ve never read any of his work. However, I love how he reaches out to readers alike and doesn’t shy away from any question. His Tweets are always entertaining.

Siobhan Davis

Siobhan is fairly new to me as an author. I first heard about her books on a Facebook reading group, and I haven’t looked back. Since then, I’ve read many of her books and have had several conversations with her.

Coralee June

Cora is one author who cares about her readers. Recently, she made her Facebook page a safe place for them and anyone who happens to see it. I love how she interacts with everyone and genuinely cares about her readers.

Cassandra Clare

Over the years, Cassie has improved on her online presence greatly. So I have to give her some respect for that feat. She routinely offers Q&A’s for her readers and tries to answer questions from them.

  1. Just don’t mention the Percy Jackson movies to Rick Riordan. I hear he blocks people when that happens…

I follow Cassandra Clare on Twitter and Instagram. I always love it when she shares bonus content with us!

  2. Yes, love to follow Cassandra Clare! I’m planning to finally read at least some of Leigh Bardugo’s books this year, so I bet I’ll be following her soon!

  3. I adore Kristoff. He’s the only author I follow on all platforms that I’m on. I just love how active he is with fans and how interactive and just funny he can be 😂 Don’t know if you can tell I’m a big fan! Lmao great list!
