Happy Tuesday, bloggers!
Reading was a luxury when I was younger. I couldn’t always read the books I wanted. So I missed out on a lot of series I wish I had.
Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The next prompt is books for my younger self. So here are the series I wish I could read when younger.
Enjoy the post!
The Riordan Universe
I didn’t start reading Riordan’s work until this year, so I missed out on a lot of his work. But each book has taught me a lot with childhood abandonment.
Sorcery of Thorns
I had a hard time showing off my bookish love when I was younger. Yes, I was more of a punk with a slight touch of goth. But I didn’t go out of my way to show my love of novels. With this book, it shows you should celebrate your love of literature.
Grace and Fury
When I was a child, I always rebelled. If I had a book, I’d read even if people wanted my attention. I often spoke out and ran off when I got in trouble. But for years, I thought I was the trouble maker, until I read this book.
City of Ghosts
The paranormal always held a special place in my heart. But being a 90s baby, I didn’t always get the greatest paranormal series. But this one is one of the best.
Girls of Paper and Fire
I haven’t read this book yet because it contains a lot of difficult topics. But I needed that when I was younger. So dealing with sexual abuse would have helped me.
