Happy Tuesday, bloggers!
It’s a new year, even if it feels like a decade has passed since the beginning of the last. So we bloggers have a lot of hopes, especially when 2020 was a dumpster fire. I typically don’t set resolutions, but I want to set some goals I can achieve throughout the year.
Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The next prompt is hopes or resolutions for 2021.
Enjoy!
Read Upwards of 100 Books
In 2020, I read 100 books, a first for me. I’m surprised I kept resetting my Goodreads Challenge. But here I am with 100 books under my belt. And I never felt better.
I just hope that I can hit that mark for this year.
Restart Full-Time Blogging
I’ve taken some time away from blogging. My personal life was thrown in that 2020 fire, so I had to take time away from blogging. I miss my blogger friends and the community. I just hope I can get back into full-time blogging soon!
Get my Mental Health Back
My depression has hugely controlled my life lately. And I wish it were different. So I’ve reached out to doctors to make it happen. Finding the right doctor may be harder than I thought though. But I’m not backing down.
Find a New and Better Job
2020 hit truly hard when I was fired from my marketing position. With 2021 looking bleak, I don’t know when I’ll reach this goal. But I am determined to find something.
Make Bookish Art
I love playing with InDesign and Photoshop. But I never thought I could use them as a way to design bookish art, not only for my blog and others but also for marketing tools for authors.
Depression is such a bear. If possible try to get outside every day and let the sunshine help you. I also use a mood light. It helps a lot in our gloomy PacNW winters. Blessings on you. https://headfullofbooks.blogspot.com/2021/01/ttt-2021-reading-goals.html

Mental health seems to be tough for so many people lately. I hope that things get better for you soon. I always wish that I had more artistic talent – it’s such an amazing skill to have.

Great list! I need to work on getting my TBR down (theres definitely some that’s been there for more than two year! Oops.) and good luck with all your lifestyle changes, I wish you all the best 😊 I’d already done this prompt in another post so I had a go at my top ten favourite albums lol. You seem like you’d have good taste in music, what are yours? Here are mine 😊 https://hundredsandthousandsofbooks.blog/2021/01/12/ttt-12-1-top-ten-albums/

2020 was such a struggle! My daughter has General Anxiety and it took several tries to find the right therapist, but now she has one she loves, so don’t give up! Trust your instincts. I hope 2021 has wonderful things in store for you! ❤
