Happy Tuesday, bloggers!
I’ve lost count of how many classical books I read over the years. Some have stuck with me, while others I forget. And there are some titles I haven’t gotten to yet.
Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The next prompt is books written before I was born.
Enjoy!
Pride and Prejudice
I’ll always love Jane for her novels. I don’t care what anyone says about her writing. I love it, especially this book. I cannot remember how many times I’ve read it.
Princess Bride
I’ve watched the movie countless times, but I’ve been so worried about reading the book. I want to love it as much I do the film.
The Handmaid’s Tale
I’ve watched the TV series, but I’ve been a chicken for not reading the book. I know it’s needed, especially in these times. But reading it alone may be too hard for me.
Paradise Lost
Surprisingly, I still want to finish this book. I’m intimidated, I’m scared, but I want to tackle it.
Yay, I’ve read and enjoyed all of these! But, I will admit I enjoyed the adapted versions of The Princess Bride and The Handmaid’s Tale more than the books. They’re still great reads, though. ❤

I haven’t finished Paradise Lost, either, but it’s on my classics TBR. That’s a hard one!

Paradise Lost is n my long-term TBR (read I want to read it in my lifetime). I read a bit a few years ago and decided I wasn’t ready for it at the time. Pride and Prejudice is one I want to reread 😀 Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/books-written-before-i-was-born-the-classics-edition/
