The Versatile Blogger Award

Hey, everyone!

How’s your long weekend looking? I finally feel like myself after Fan Expo. I never knew I could walk that much, but my feet say otherwise. 😲

I’ve never done this award before. Leslie from Books Are the New Black nominated me. You need to check out her blog. You’re in for a treat.

Thank you, Leslie! 💜😘

The rules:

  • Thank the person who nominated you
  • Leave a link to their blog
  • Tell us 7 things about yourself
  • Nominate 15 bloggers/bloggers you’ve discovered recently or follow regularly

Seven Things about Me

  1. I’ve almost died three times. I practically lived in my local ER/hospital because I was always sick.
  2. Since I had a speech impediment when I was young, I hated public speaking. I couldn’t do that part of an assignment, and I certainly can’t do it now.
  3. I’m a marketing and publicity intern at a small Canadian press. Getting this internship took me years. I actually mean that. I couldn’t believe that I got it, and I’m so lucky that I have.
  4. I may have half-siblings, but I don’t see them as family. Over the years, I found mine through friends, and they’re more of a family than my own blood.
  5. I don’t like peacocks. I had one stalk and chase me. And ever since then, I can’t look at one without having a “flight” moment. They may be pretty, but they are dangerous.
  6. I hate when books show up damaged. My collection is basically pristine. And when I see a book damaged, I cry a little inside.
  7. I swore off getting another cat when my first pet, Tobi, died. It took me years to get over that loss. However, I found this little guy walking in my neighbour’s driveway, whistled at him, then fed him when he followed me home. And he just walked right into my family’s life. Literally, he just walked through our front door and occasionally knocked on it when the rain came. Bud, my stray-turned-pet, has captured my heart. He’s a fighter like me, and I adore this little man. ISN’T HE CUTE?! 😍

The Unique Blogger Award (3)

Happy Friday, everyone!!!

JoBeth from Blue Binding nominated me for this award. Thank you so much for this, JoBeth! You just made my weekend!

Be sure to check out her blog.

Rules:

  • Display the award
  • Thank the person who nominated you and post a link to their blog on your blog
  • Answer the questions they’ve written for you
  • Nominate 8-13 bloggers and give them three questions in the spirit of sharing love and solidarity within our blogging family!

JoBeth’s Questions

If you could meet with any author (living or dead), who would you choose?

I heard authors. Did you? Okay, here are my three picks:

Leigh Bardugo: I’ve connected with her and her work so much that I feel I need to pay thanks in person. She has an unbelievable strength for what she goes through and what she accomplishes, and I adore her.

Sabaa Tahir: This woman made me love fantasy again. And she taught tolerance in a world that is hellbent on hot seeing it.

Marissa Meyer: She may be my newest favourite, but I love her nonetheless!

What is your favourite dessert?

It’s almost midnight, and now I can’t stop thinking about dessert (thank you, btw) 😂 Jello is by far my favourite. It got me through some rough parts of my life, and it made parts of my life sweeter (enjoy the pun).

What is your favourite childhood book or story?

I used to love the Goosebump stories. They’ve played such a huge role in my love of fantasy that I couldn’t

My Questions

1. Which author would you love to co-write a book with?

2. If you could only read books from five authors for the rest of your life, who would you choose? (stole this one)

3. Which genre do you like the least?

My Nominations

You know I have to show my love with you all. So I’ll nominate you. If you’ve already done this award, don’t feel like you need to do it. If you do though, link me to your post! I’d love to see your responses!

The Unique Blogger Award (2)

Hello, darlings!

I truly need to stop working on my blog so late at night. One time, I might actually get a review done, not push it back to the next day. 😂

The amazing Bibi nominated me for this award. You guys are too good to me, you know that?! When I see these kinds of noms show up in my notifications, I want to hug you all. Clearly, you need to follow her blog, so go check it out!

THE RULES:

  • Share the link of the blogger who nominated you
  • Answer their questions
  • Share some love with the blogging community by nominating 8-12 people
  • Ask three questions for your nominees

Bibi’s Questions

How do you decide what book you will read next?

And you have started the first question off with a hard one. And here I thought this post would be easy. 😂 Typically, I plan which books I want to read throughout the month. So I want to read the recently released books immediately. However, I’ve been indecisive about which book to pick up lately. I’ve changed my mind three times this week just so I would stick with reading A Reaper at the Gates.

If you had to build your own harem, which 3-5 book loves would you choose? You can only pick one per book.

Yessss, someone finally asks me this question! And I find another harem reader (wow, that sounds horrible). I am not a hornball. I swear.

  • Thorne from Lunar Chronicles. My smol baby just breaks my heart every time I read about him!
  • Cassian from A Court of Thorns and Roses. That man is godly, and I’d probably whimper at the sight of him. And evidently, I have a thing for winged men.
  • Kaz from Six of Crows. The man owns my heart.
  • Elias from A Reaper at the Gates. MY CINNAMON ROLL IS PRECIOUS. Why wouldn’t I have him on this list?!
  • Elian from To Kill a Kingdom. I need a pirate in my life, and he is gorgeous, devious, and ruthless.

What’s your favourite kind of blog post to write and why?

I love writing discussion posts. They allow me to interact with more bloggers and see what their thoughts are on a particular topic. And I just love debating about books. So it works for me.

Right now, I’m working on one that talks about supporting bloggers in minorities and with disabilities, which I’m excited to finish!

My Questions

  1. When do you know that you should give up on a series you may not like but feel like you need to read ( for bragging rights)?
  2. Which beloved book couple do you hate the most? Why?
  3. Which book are you anticipating the most to read?

My Nominations!

Muahaha, now I get to pick my victims. 😈

MogsyElaine | JaneShaliniChristineCindyPaigeLaRonda | Lily | Becky

No pressure! If you’ve recently done this, don’t worry. But if you want to go ahead, link me up so I can read your responses, which are the best part of this award!

The Sunshine Blogger Award (3)

I’m always surprised when I get nominated for these awards. I’m clearly doing something right, or this post wouldn’t exist. 😂 Sara @ The Bibliophagist nominated me. So thank you, Sara! You can’t imagine how happy I am to be nominated! Go check out her blog!

WHAT IS THE SUNSHINE BLOGGER AWARD?

The Sunshine Blogger Award is given to those who are creative, positive, and inspiring while spreading sunshine to the blogging community.

THE RULES

  1. Thank the person/persons that nominated you and link back to their blog.
  2. Answer the 11 questions your nominator has given you.
  3. Nominate 11 other people and give them 11 new questions to answer.
  4. List the rules and display the award.

Sara’s Questions

Chocolate or coffee?

Yuck. Definitely chocolate. I can’t handle the smell of coffee, let alone the taste of it. How do you drink that?!

What’s your perfect “me” time?

Where I can just disappear in a book, when I get lost in a bookstore, or where I can cuddle with my cat. And let me tell you: the latter is harder than you imagine!

Who’s your most-read author?

Kelley Armstrong, Cassandra Clare, Sarah J. Maas, and Ariana Franklin

What book are you always thinking about even though you read it a long time ago?

ACOTAR series. I’m a predictable reader, so I’m not surprised I think about this series so much. Those bat babies certainly know how to distract you. 😉

What was the happiest day of your life?

I had two days: when I got my first cat, Tobi, and when Buddy, my stray-turned-pet, walked into my family house. Yes, he actually walked right through the door and demanded food. I couldn’t believe he did it, and I watched him do it. 😂

If you could spend the day with any fictional character, who would it be and what would you do?

Kaz. I relate so much to this character even if he’d be tempted to steal from me.

If there’s one unfinished book/TV/any other medium series that you could have finished right now, which would it be?

Cainsville series by Kelley Armstrong (I spoiled myself with the last book, and I’ve avoided it because of that)

13 Reasons Why TV series (I just need to know what happens)

Dangerous Creatures series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl! (JUST WRITE THE NEXT BOOK)

Riverdale TV series

You’re given the option of knowing the exact date and time of your death or staying blissfully unaware. Which do you pick?

I’d rather not know even though a huge part of me wants to say the exact opposite. I think I’d obsess with the date more than live my life.

If you were told you could be an expert in any one thing instantly, what would you pick?

Writing!

What’s the most recent book that you were unable to (or struggled to) finish?

War Storm and The Hazel Wood. I love most parts of the former since it’s one of my favourite series, but the ending killed it for me. And I had too high expectations.

With the Hazel Wood, I feel the story is too over the place, and I was lost by the end.

If you had six months with no obligations or financial constraints, what would you do with the time?

I’d travel to all the best bookstores around the world. I want to find those rare books, meet interesting readers, and make new friends.

My Nominations

Kathy | BreeMogsy | AshleyJess, and Teagan | Nina | CindyKayBecky | LaRonda | Kris

My Questions

There are some questions above I like, so I’ll be using a few.

  1. Is there a character you wish went a different path?
  2. Which character would you want to save from a horrible situation?
  3. What’s the most recent book that you were unable to (or struggled to) finish?
  4. Which fictional world do you want to live in?
  5. Your bookshelf is on fire, which book do you save from the flames? Why that one?
  6. Who is your favourite character you want to meet but are afraid to?
  7. Which genre you cannot stand reading?
  8. Which series are you eagerly waiting to get your hands onto?
  9. Which animal/pet do you love the most in a series?
  10. If you could change an ending in a book/series, what would it be?
  11. What was the last book you read that disappointed you the most?

The Unique Blogger Award

If I could scream without causing another coughing attack, I would. But I can’t. Over the weekend, Merline from Merline Reads nominated me. Thank you, deary. ❤ I needed that pick-me-up since I got sick on my birthday and have been a walking plague ever since.

I was wondering how I’d start off the week, and my mind was coming up blank. So you’ve saved my butt, Merline. You should go check out her blog!

Now, onto the award.

The Rules
  • Display the award!
  • Thank the person who nominated you, and post a link to their blog on your blog.
  • Answer the questions they’ve written for you!
  • Nominate 8-13 bloggers and give them three questions in the spirit of sharing love and solidarity within our blogging family!

Merline’s Questions

1. How do you balance personal life, blogging, reading, and other commitments?

Plan, plan, and plan. You can’t wing everything in life, even if half of the people I know would say otherwise. My planner has saved me more than once. You may need to make a blogging day (or days) so you can schedule which posts to write.

With reading, I calculate how many pages I need to read per day. One tip I’d give is to write reviews as soon as you’ve finished the book, or you’ll run into problems with no remembering certain details. Perhaps I should take my own advice. 😅

2. Describe the book of your dreams.

Oh, I’d love for a book that could actually transport me into the story. Wait. No, scratch that book. That’s the plot for the Chamber of Secrets. Nope. Not interested, Riddle.

I don’t have one, which surprises me since I thought I would. Fiction will always have flaws in it. Even my most favourite books have them. Or maybe I’m still looking for the most sarcastic character who will prove me wrong.

3. What you would do with a million dollars?

First, I’d support my Mom. She has given up so much since she became disabled, and she has always deserved more. And no, Mother’s Day doesn’t sway my thoughts.

If I had anything left over, I’d invest it, or I’d build my own library and stock it with tons of books.

My Nominees

  1. Kay @ Hammock of Books
  2. Nina @ The Cozy Pages
  3. Taylor @ Nerd Narration
  4. Jess and Teagan @ Fiction No Chaser

  7. Kathy @ Books and Munches (please tell you’ve found me a Scots! 😉)
  8. Marty @ The Cursed Books
  9. Jenn @ Bound to Writing
  10. Elaine @ Howlin Books

My Questions

  1. Which villain have you fallen in love with?
  2. What is the last blog post you struggled with the most? Why?
  3. What series would you love to be apart of?

Thank you for nominating me, Merline! I had such a fantastic time with this post. Anyone who is interested in doing this award, link back to this post so I can see your answers! I can’t wait to read them.

Sunshine Book Blogger Award (2)

Ahhhh! I’m so excited to do this post. The wonderful Merline @ Merline Reads nominated me for it. Thank you, deary! Now go check out her posts. Yes, right now. Then you can come back here.

THE RULES

  • Thank the blogger(s) who nominated you in a blog post and link back to their blog.
  • Answer the 11 questions sent by the person who nominated you.
  • Nominate 5-11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.
  • List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo in your post and/or on your blog.

Merline’s Questions

What is your greatest accomplishment?

Back when I was in college, I developed an illness, which has sidelined me many times. This autoimmune disease almost costs me my diploma. Travelling to college, doing the work, waking up at an ungodly hour when I barely got two hours of sleep, and just functioning were the hardest days of my life. But I didn’t let it me beat me, and I graduated, on time, with all my friends.

If stranded on an island, what three books would you have with you?

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas (it brings me life)

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Bitten by Kelley Armstrong

What’s your favorite place to read?

Even though I’m not a genius like Sheldon is, I have some of his tendencies. I have a Sheldon chair, aka my chair, where I always read. Okay, I practically do everything in that chair, even sleep. But back at my old house, we had a huge cardboard box filled with blankets where I’d sit and read in it. Tobi, my old cat, hated that I stole her hiding spot. 😂

What’s your favorite drink and snack to have while reading?

Even though I’m not a huge chocolate fan, I love hot chocolate with chocolate-covered raisins

If you had to recommend one book (any genre) to someone, what book would you suggest?

(I can’t decide, and I’ve been waiting to use this gif for months)

What author would you love to meet?

Don’t tempt me. Alrighty, I have a list. Here it goes:

Leigh Bardugo, Sarah J. Maas, Sabaa Tahir, Victoria Aveyard, Kelley Armstrong (again), and Tate James

…the list goes on

Who is your celebrity role model?

I don’t really have one, except Leigh Bardugo, who rocks life with a cane.

What’s your favorite food to eat?

Why would you ask me this question?! I love food too much to make a coherent answer.

If your life, as it is up to this point, was made into a film what song would be playing during the end credits?

Seven Devils by Florence and the Machine (I’m dramatic even though I don’t admit it)

What’s your favorite Disney movie?

Nightmare before Christmas!!!

What advice would you give new bloggers?

Don’t be shy, involve yourself in the blogging community, comment on your followers’ posts, participate in challenges, get yourself out there, find new ways to bring people to your blog, and don’t be afraid to address the controversial issues you find important.

My Nominees

  1. Clarissa @ The Quirky Lady Bookworm
  2. Kay @ Hammock of Books
  3. Kaila @ The Traveling Inkwell

  1. What trope do you love/hate the most?
  2. Now, which trope do you want to do away with?
  3. Which series do you love to hate?
  4. What do you wish to change/make better about the blogging life/community?
  5. What is your next anticipated read?
  6. Which is your top three OTP (one true pairing)?
  7. Who is your favourite villainous character?
  8. Who would you love to see dead? And when I say that, I mean fictional characters.
  9. What is your last DNF book?
  10. Which book would you love to be transported in?
  11. Who is your latest book boyfriend or girlfriend?

Sunshine Blogger Award

Eee! I love doing these posts. Laronda @ Flying Paperbacks nominated me for this award. I can’t be more thrilled. Thank you, Laronda!!!

Rules

  • Thank the blogger who nominated you in a blog post and link back to their blog.
  • Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you.
  • Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.
  • List the rules and display the sunshine blogger award logo in your post/or on your blog.

Laronda’s Questions

How did you decide the theme for your blog?

I had no clue what I wanted or how I wanted to design my blog, so I picked the Nucleare theme off of WP, then went with the turquoise colour, which came with the theme, then tada! I have my theme.

But I’m hoping to change it soon though!

What’s your favorite animal?

Cats, but wolves are a close second.

How did you find your favorite book?

Ahahahaha, in Grade 8, my English teacher saw I was reading it, then she gave it to me. She forgot it was strictly adult, and I probably shouldn’t have been allowed to read it.  😅

Is there any strategy to the way to organize your shelves?

I—or the organizational freak who inhabits my mind—prefer size, then within that size, I go by preference. If I like book A better than book B, then A goes before B.

Have you met any authors?

Years ago, I met Kelley Armstrong. Last year though, I wanted to meet Sarah J. Maas when she came to Canada, but I doubted I would have gotten to see her. The lineup was insane.

Favorite app on your phone?

Instagram, even though I don’t use it for my blog yet.

If you could have any pet form any book, what would it be?

Bryaxis from ACOWAR. He’s so adorable, and he scares Cassian. 😂

What’s your favorite book in your least favorite color?

I haven’t read it yet, but Shadowsong by S. Jae-Jones has a pink cover. I first thought I’d hate the colour, but surprisingly it looks great.

Winter or Summer?

Winter. I can’t stand the heat.

What is a guilty pleasure show you watch?

The Runaways! Unfortunately, the CGI isn’t the greatest, and the writing is a bit cliche, but I love it.

How many times have you moved and which place was your favorite?

I’ve moved only once. Even though I loved my old house, I prefer the one I live in now.

My Questions

  1. What are you hoping authors change or finally include in their books for 2018?
  2. Which trope do you love/hate?
  3. Which OTP is your favourite? Or which OTP are you hoping will sail?
  4. Which book of 2018 has disappointed you?
  5. Which villain would you kiss, marry, or kill?
  6. What would you like to see changed or fixed in the blogging community?
  7. Which character would you want to rewrite?
  8. Which author are you dying to get a signature from?
  9. Do you think you should judge a book without reading it (especially if you’ve heard bad things about it)?
  10. Which books are you anticipating the most for the next few months?
  11. Which characters would you love to see get in a fight? Who do you think would win?

You don’t have to do this award if you’ve already been nominated or are too busy. But you’ve guys have showed me some blogging love and support, so I felt that I should return the favour. And frankly, you deserve the recognition. If you do, have fun!

The Mystery Blogger Award (2)

Hey, everyone!

Give it to me to forget that I was nominated twice for this award, which was created by Okoto Enigma. Rheanne @ Rheareads first nominated me back in January. And I thought I’d spread the love (rather late) to other bloggers! I haven’t been around the blogosphere lately. School’s been draining me since it started. And I thought I’d let everyone know I’m still around. I’m not dead. I repeat I’m not dead.

Enjoy, everyone!

Award Rules

  1. Put the award logo on your blog.
  2. List the rules.
  3. Thank whoever nominated you and link to their blog.
  4. Mention the creator of the award and provide a link as well.
  5. Tell your readers three things about yourself.
  6. Nominate roughly 10-20 people for this award
  7. Notify your nominees by commenting on their blogs.
  8. Ask your nominees five questions.
  9. Share a link to your best/favorite post that you’ve written

Three Things about Me

  1. I don’t like blue jays or peacocks. Other birds I’m fine with. But those? Nope, nope, nope. Those vicious beasts attacked me. The first one dive bombed me, then the other chased me. And now I sound more like Sheldon every day. Wonderful.
  2. I’m clearly camera shy. And if I could avoid getting a picture taken, I’d dive right into a shark tank.
  3. I’ve apologized to the books I’ve damaged. Silly and highly weird. But I feel bad for hurting my babies.

Rheanne’s Questions

Why did you start blogging?

I’m an introvert with extrovert tendencies, so I felt compelled to start blogging. And, since I’d love to get into the publishing industry, I also wanted to get experience in the blogosphere.

If you were to meet your favourite author, who would it be and what would you do?

I think if I met Leigh Bardugo I’d combust into fangirl flames and horribly die in front of everyone. But I’d be happy for about a second though! More than likely, I’d beg for her to adopt me and to teach me the ways of Kaz Brekker. Both of them are my heroes.

What is a popular book (series) you hated?

The 50 Shades of Grey and Twilight series, which I’ve read. And somewhat The Mortal Instruments. Okay, I don’t necessarily hate TMI, but I don’t understand why some of the fans are so cutthroat. I get why some readers hate the series with all the author controversy. But you’re either a fan, a hater, a staunch hater, or a staunch lover. There is no in-between with this series. And I don’t know why people will go out of their way to point of why they love/hate the author or series. Calm down, chicklings.

What is your most memorable book blogging moment?

Having Leigh Bardugo talk with me and like my posts. She’s just liked my review of Language of Thorns. I nearly DIED. Well, I’d be happy, but very much dead.

What book are you most anticipating for 2017?

Oh, God. Why would you ask that question? That’s like asking me which book I love. Okay. Here’s my list:

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas (LOVE this one)

The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo

One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake

Warcross by Marie Lu

Wonder Woman: Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo

Flame in the Mist by Renée Ahdieh

A Conjuring of Light by V. E. Schwab

Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab

Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones

My Favourite Posts

  1. I loved writing my review on Three Dark Crowns. It was such a great and uniquely dark story, and somehow people loved my review.
  2. My review on Now I Rise was also a great post as well. I’ve just started reading Kiersten’s work, and I was eagerly awaiting to see how Lada, the female Vlad the Impaler, gets her crown back. That woman is more vicious than Hannibal Lecter.
  3. I miss writing my Bookish Finds series, which showcases book-related gifts. Even though it killed my bank account, I loved finding new things to buy.

My Nominations

  1. Kyra and Nikki @ Book Allure

The Liebster Award!

tags-and-awards-20160809-liebster-award

The Liebster award is created to support and help advertise blogs with under 200 followers. I was nominated by Marianne, from Storyscope. Thank you, Marianne!

About the rules

  1. Acknowledge the blog that nominated you and display the award.*
  2. Answer the 11 questions that the blog gives you.
  3. Give 11 random facts about yourself.
  4. Nominate 5-11 blogs that you think are deserving of the award that have less than 200 followers.
  5. Let the blogs know you have nominated them.
  6. Give them 11 questions to answer.

* Please note the image of the Liebster award was taken from one of the blogs that nominated me. If there is a problem with the ownership of this image, please let me know and I will immediately take it down.

Here are my answers for Marianna’s questions:

1. Which book quote do you find inspiring?

That question is like asking me which book is my favourite. Oh, God. I have to pick. Okay, here it is: Loneliness is the human condition. Cultivate it. The way it tunnels into you allows your soul room to grow. Never expect to outgrow loneliness.––Janet Fitch

2. What is the last book you did not finish?

This one was a while back (couple of years actually). I couldn’t finish The Devil in Silver by Victor LaValle. The colour contrast on the cover drew me in (before my Book Design course, I thought the cover was good), but I couldn’t finish the rest of the book. I was hoping for this book to have some features that One Who Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest has, but The Devil in Silver is a poor man’s rendition of that wonderful book.

3. Do you have a favourite bookshop?

Yes! I love The Violet Door.

4. Of all the books you have read, which book impressed you the most?

White Oleander by Janet Fitch. It’s practially my bible of sorts.

5. What shape would your patronus take?

The cat or the dire wolf (yeah, not the wolf, BUT the dire wolf, thank you very much). I may be tiny, but I am mighty.

6. Where do you blog?

WordPress!

7. Do you write anything else besides blog posts?

I always have my journal with my odd writings and such. I was a journalism student back in the day, and I was also a creative writing student, so writing is in my blood.

8. Do you rather read during the day or at night?

Night. I’m definitely a night owl.

9. Last book that made you cry?

The Nightingale by Hannah Kristin. I wasn’t expecting that kind of ending, and the characters have haunted me ever since I finished it.

10. Do you own any special editions?

I have eight out of the nine Subterranean Press editions (most of them are signed and numbered) of Kelley Armstrong’s books. I would love to find the only one I don’t have: Angelic. I guard them with my life, and no one, except for me, touches them. Or I’ll go full nuke on the poor bastard.

11. What is your favourite pastime besides reading?

Writing, although I haven’t as of late, besides my blog, of course. I love to hike as well, but this blasted heat wave gets in the way of things, like living.

Here are eleven facts about me:

  1. I’m an only child, but I have siblings (blood and choosen ones).
  2. I haven’t finished the entire Harry Potter series, but I’ve watched the entire movie series (I plan to rectify that problem shortly, or Dana may hurt me).
  3. I’ve almost died three times.
  4. I know how to put in an IV. I’m not sure if I’m proud or scared of that accomplishment.
  5. I hate when books are damaged. And secretly, I want to punch the people from inventory or the shipping company.
  6. I organize my books by size, unless they’re from a favourite author or a series, then they’re together that way. Within each size, I organize them by preference.
  7. I collect snowglobes and cups. I usually collect Halloween and Christmas ones.
  8. I simply love The Nightmare before Christmas, and I’ve collected a few items.
  9. I hate tea and coffee, but I’m a hot chocolate fiend, even though I don’t like a lot of chocolate. (I often contradict myself as well.)
  10. Kelley Armstrong is the the reason why I became a book publishing student at Ryerson. Bitten inspired me to get into this industry (if only I can find a bloody internship).
  11. I hate peacocks and blue jays. Both tried to attack me, and I would like nothing more than to blow them up. Now I sound like Sheldon.

I nominate the following bloggers:

  1. Dana from Dana and the Books (you are the one who pushed me to be a book blogger, and we are evil twins!)
  2. Read Junkie
  3. Michael from There Are Books
  4. Stephanie from Between Folded Pages (you were one of my first followers, so I have to nominate you!)
  5. Alyssa from Little Sparrow Books

You don’t need to participate if you don’t wish to do so.

Here are the questions I ask you:

  1. Which character annoyed you the most in the Harry Potter series? (If you haven’t read it, you can pick another series.)
  2. Which book(s) do you hate to love?
  3. What is the last book that has inspired you?
  4. What would you do for the rarest and most-coveted book you’ve ever wanted?
  5. What is your patronus?
  6. What was the last book that completely gutted you?
  7. Which author do you hate with a vengence?
  8. What do you do when someone interupts you reading?
  9. What are your other hobbies, besides reading and blogging?
  10. Which characters would you screw-marry-kill? They can be from any series. (I had to go there. Sorry!)
  11. What format do you prefer: paperback, hardcover, or ebook?

Thank you, Marianne, for nominating me. I’m honoured! I’m eager to see everyone’s responses. 🙂
