Are you interested in my blog? Do you want your book featured on it? Great. Please take a moment to look over my review policy.
I feel honoured that you’ve considered my blog. And I’d like to thank you for reaching out to me. To date, I’ve worked with several Canadian publishers on various projects (past and future). And I’ve participated in many blog tours through Xpresso Book Tours and Rockstar Book Tours. I’m also a Publishing student at Ryerson University. So I’m versed in the publishing industry, and I understand what you’re looking for.
If you wish to work with me, I’m more than willing and happy to offer any service, but please understand that, for now, my blog is a sponsor-free one. I will not receive any payment for any service rendered. The only item I request is an ARC; you can also offer promotional materials like banners and giveaways.
I offer the following:
- book reviews, which include the blurb, pub. date, and other details
- spotlights, including author and character(s)
- blog tours, including cover reveal tours
- interviews, including author, illustrator, character, and narrator (for audiobooks)
- other promotional materials like trailers and giveaways
My reviews always reflect my own thoughts and opinions. I will explain the reason(s) why I do or do not like your author’s work. My opinion will hold true and will not be influenced.
Please send the ARC well in advance (3 months or so) so I have enough time to review it. I’ll review your author’s book as soon as possible (or sooner, mind you) from the time you send me the ARC, unless I have previous obligations that may push the review back further, but it will be up prior to the pub. date! If I can’t review your work, I’ll send an email explaining why. Please also understand that my schedule is booked several months in advance. I prefer receiving final copies, printed ARCs, and eARCs (compatible with Kobo). I do not prefer PDFs, which don’t always work on my e-reader.
Please also note that I don’t usually take ARCs or books from independent authors (unless I’ve reviewed your work in the past). I haven’t had the greatest history with some of these authors, and I prefer to work with the publisher itself. But I believe this type of interaction protects all sides. I apologize for any inconvenience.
However, if you are a literary agent who wishes to pitch your author’s book to me, I’m more than welcome to receive your email though.
Please understand that I prefer to connect with you before you send an ARC.
I review books from the following genres:
- Young adult (most of my reviews are from YA books)

- Romance (especially if it incorporates other genres listed above)
- Reverse harem
I’m always looking for strong female leads. And I’m currently looking for diverse books! So you’re more than welcome to send these goodies.
I do not review the following genres:
- Chick lit

You can reach me on my blog or send an email to siobhansnovelties@gmail.com. I typically email or comment back within 24 hours.
