Top Ten Tuesday | Book Characters I’d Love to Be Besties With

Happy Tuesday!

I’ve been so exhausted lately. Who else feels the same way? I think I’m in need of a desperate need of a vacation. But I’m excited about this post. I knew I could put twenty or more character on my list. But I want to talk about my most recent favourites. Who’s ready?

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The second prompt is book characters you’d want to be besties with. Okay, I’ll just say that I’d want to be besties with most of the characters I read about.

Enjoy the read!

Top Ten Tuesday | Favourite Books Released in the Last Decade

Morning, readers!

I got sidetrack when The Hot Zone came on TV. So I’m not surprised I’ll have another late night. My body may hate me when I wake up though.

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The last topic of the month is books released in the last decade.

I knew not being thorough with my Goodreads account would bite me in the ass someday. And that day has arrived. I joined Goodreads in 2015, so I’m going off the books’ release dates, not the year I read them.

I hope you love the post!

Top Ten Tuesday | Characters Who Remind Me of Myself

Morning, darlings!

May is, I hope, turning out to be a fresh start. And I am counting down the days to celebrate my 30th birthday. And even though I am undecided of what to do, I’m intrigued to see what this new decade will offer. But I have to admit that I’m more excited to read some of my anticipated books more than anything, really. 😂

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The first TTT prompt of the month is characters who remind us of ourselves. Ahaha, I get to show off my dark (and slightly weird) side. 😈 So get ready for stabby and powerful women!

Top Ten Tuesday | Characters I’d Like to Switch Places with

Morning, everyone!

A new month, a new start. I’ve been waiting for the latter for awhile now. I can see Spring on the way, even though it snowed yesterday. So who else is excited for the new month?

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The first prompt is characters I’d love to switch places with. Sara from A Gingerly Review, who submitted this topic, has stumped me. And I didn’t know how to start my post. Most of the characters I’ve read have suffered, and I’m not sure if I’m down for suffering with them, if you understand what I mean.

But I can’t skip out on March’s first topic. So here are my top picks! I hope you love my choices.

Top Ten Tuesday | Books I Loved with Fewer than 2,000 GR Ratings

Did anyone else struggle with this topic? I had to browse through my entire Goodreads read list just to find some titles. 😅 But fear not. I’ve found something to work with!

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The next prompt talks about books with no more than 2,000 Goodreads ratings. So don’t expect to see a lot of your favourites on this list.

So I won’t waste any more time. I hope you love this week’s picks!

Top Ten Tuesday | Upcoming Releases I’m on the Fence about

Okay, book bloggers,

Who’s ready for February’s first TTT post? This month is short, but I’m so ready for a new start.

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The first prompt of the month is upcoming books we’re unsure of adding to our TBR list. I have hundreds of titles on my Goodreads shelves. And sometimes I’m hesitant to add more onto them. So here are my recent picks I’m still not sold on:

Top Ten Tuesday | Books I Meant to Read In 2018 but Didn’t Get To

I never thought one of my posts would make me feel guilty over not reading enough books. But here I am. 😂

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. For this week’s prompt, we get to talk about books we wanted to read last year but never got to them.

This week, I’m keeping my list short. I hope you all enjoy!

Top Ten Tuesday | Best Books I Loved Reading in 2018

Happy New Year, book fam!

I cannot wait to see what 2019 has in store for all of us. Who else is excited? I am. And I’ve already filled up my yearly TBR list, which may be well over 50 books.

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. For my first post of 2019, we highlight the best books of 2018.

Empire of Storms

I haven’t moved past this book. It broke me, and I am still healing. I regret not reading the series sooner. I went into Sarah’s ACOTAR before this one, but I feel so connected to each character, especially Aelin.

Lifel1k3

THIS BOOK. THESE CHARACTERS. THIS AUTHOR. He is a god, and I am a measly mortal who doesn’t deserve this gorgeous and out-of-this-world sci-fi. Androids wanting to kill their maker will always be my favourite storyline.

The Cruel Prince

I hate but love Cardan, but he is a conflicted character who has never seen kindness in Faerie. But with Jude and Cardan, I am an instant Holly fan. But what seals my fate is how she write a beautiful plot twist.

This Fallen Prey

When Kelley detoured into mystery and thriller stories, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I never should have doubted my one of my favourite authors. Even though the third addition in the Rockton series was a bit predictable, I love this atmospheric novel.

Warcross

You all know I rarely read sci-fi. But Warcross makes me want to dabble in that genre more. Emika is one of favourite and the most relatable character I’ve read. But what I love the most is the world building. It far exceeds itself. And I want to immerse myself in Warcross.
