Monthly Wrap-Up: March 2020

Morning, everyone!

March may have been one of the hardest months of this year. My family has finally gotten out of our own isolation after my Mom’s chemo treatments, but we got right back into it when the pandemic hit. But we have this down pat, so I’m glad the both of us are introverts.

I hope everyone is safe during this time!

Enjoy the post!

Monthly Wrap-Up: January 2020

Morning, everyone!

Okay, so January wasn’t a horrible month, but I felt a little off for most of it. Ovall, it was good bookwise, but I didn’t let my blogging slump bring me down. Surprisingly though, I hit my first 500 blog post, and I am so excited my blog has reached this far. I never knew it would!

I hope your month was great for you! Enjoy the read.

Monthly Wrap-Up: May 2019

Ah, another month has passed. I’m glad but somewhat sad to see it go. May is always a fantastic month for readers. So I’m happy to see my TBR list grow.

I’ve kept quiet on my personal life, but I have to say that even though I’m struggling, I know the book community is keeping me sane. So I want to thank everyone for all the support.

So while May is gone, I am eager to see what June will bring.

Monthly Wrap-Up | April 2019

Morning, everyone!

Who else struggled with April? I honestly wanted to read more books and to buy them too. But I didn’t care if I did either. And since I had to dodge Avengers spoilers, I took some time away from my blog and my social media accounts. You don’t know how good it felt for not dealing with a self-imposed deadline.

Let me tell you that I cried, and I still feel hollowed out after watching that movie. But I’ve never been so proud to be a part of this franchise and family. #ILoveYou3000

Not let’s get back to blogging. This post is short (somewhat) and sweet (I hope). I hope you love it!

Monthly Wrap-Up | March 2019

Morning, bloggers!

Have you ever had a month where your blog went great, but everything else in your life, particularly reading, just stalled? That’s how I explain my March.

Mom started her treatments, and my thrill in anything has kind of died. But I’m fighting to get back to where I was, even though it’s a daily battle. So life may have been a downer, but my blog kept me fighting. And I have to thank you all for the support. You don’t understand how much I need that right now.

So even though the month was slow, I’m glad I discovered fantastic reads. Hopefully, April is a better month for us all. Now let’s get to this post.

Monthly Wrap-Up: February 2019

Hey book fam,

Phew! Another month has passed, and I can let out a well-deserved sigh of relief. February was rather slow and hard for me personally. We finally got the results of my Mom’s cancer. And she’s in the early stages, which I can’t believe.

I wanted to take some time away from my blog. But you all were the reason why I stayed. You kept me smiling and laughing. You kept the shadows away. And I cannot thank you enough for all of your support.

Even though blogging is stressful, it has given me purpose and drive to strive forward, even when I feel I can’t get off the ground. So although February was arduous, I found an escape through this community and some great books. Now, let’s get to the wrap-up, yes?

Monthly Wrap-Up: January 2019

It feels as if January was a year, not a month. It was the most difficult, challenging, and emotionally draining one. And I just hope February turns out better.

On a personal level, I know I took a hit. A hard one. But on the blogging side, I couldn’t do better. I love all the support everyone has given me over the last year. And I can’t wait for you to see what I’ll be thinking up next for this little blog of mine. So let’s get to my fangirl-filled wrap-up!

Monthly Wrap-Up | December 2018

Morning, book fam!

Who else feels drained from the holidays? I’ve been getting in some solid 10-hour nights, but I still feel exhausted. So I am glad I’m still on my work break, or I couldn’t function properly. Hopefully, for my new year’s resolution, I’ll get back into the blogging swing. I’ve missed talking with all of you.

But Christmas turned out great, and New Year’s Eve just set off a great new start to 2019. Is anyone freaking out over the number of books we need to buy and read this year?

Monthly Wrap-Up: November 2018

Hi, book fam!

Okay, I’ll be straight with you all. November may be my worst month of 2018, and I may be so glad it’s over. But my thrill of December starting just makes me warm up. As some of you know, I struggled with some personal problems like family stress and someone stealing my identity. But I can’t let these negative sway my love of Christmas.

So for my monthly goal, I’m catching up on my blog and up my blogger friends, reach out like before, and be more involved in our great community. And frankly, I’m a little stoked for Blogmas (or some form of it, because blogging every day sounds daunting).

Who’s ready for another monthly wrap-up post? Let’s get to it then.
