Monthly Wrap-Up: October 2019

Morning, bloggers!

Halloween is done. And I cannot believe it’s November already. I can’t. So this post is giving me all the sad feels, if you know what I mean.

Who else is almost close to finishing their Goodreads Challenge? I am so stoked to have read forty-six books. I just need four more to complete my fifty-book goal!

Monthly Wrap-Up: September 2019

Morning, bloggers!

September was insane. And I warn you now that the post is long! I honestly didn’t think the month could end soon enough. It simply wasn’t my favourite. So I’m glad to see it go.

Now October is here, I cannot wait to see all the Halloween decorations pop up! On a personal matter, Mom will have finished her cancer treatments by next Monday. And I am counting down the days to hear the gong ring. She deserves it. And I’ll be glad to see cancer in the rearview mirror.

Now, let’s get to the post! I hope you love the read.

_____

I’m possessed. Deadly.

Raised as a vampire, I’m no stranger to blood. But when power-hungry supes force a ritual on me, I become something else entirely.

The black widow.

I’ve been on the run for almost a decade, my only companion the spider that lives within me. She makes me strong, and I revel in that power, but it’s fueled with the need to feed.

Unfortunately, carnal cannibalism isn’t exactly trending. But by the time I lure my victims to my bed, it’s too late for them. When they finally see the hourglass on my throat, I’m already draining them dry.

But there are more supes like me. Abducted victims forced into possessions that change their lives forever. I’m determined to save them all.

With the help of an old friend, a risk demon, and a rare gargoyle, I put a plan into motion that will end Spector Inc.’s plan to make an army of stronger, deadlier supes.

I just hope I can handle this wicked web of lies and make it out alive.

Authors

Coralee June has always been passionate about storytelling and impressed by the influence it has on people and the decisions they make in life. She loves engaging with the projects she works on, diving headfirst into developing real, raw, and relatable characters that are equally flawed and beautiful. Coralee lives in Dallas, Tx with her husband and two daughters.

She’s been known to frequently indulge in boxed red wine and day-old pizza. When she’s not writing, June is reading or substitute teaching at the local middle school.

Raven Kennedy likes writing and reading and chocolate-bar-eating. Dark chocolate. Get out of here with that other stuff. She also likes to take long walks on the beach. Not really. She lives in the desert. The only water there is the wavy stuff that comes with a mirage. But I’m sure if there was a beach nearby, she’d walk then. Probably. Maybe. Her first book is Signs of Cupidity, the first of a series.

Monthly Wrap-Up: August 2019

Morning, bloggers!

Was August good to you, or are you done with summer? Either way, I’m a little sad to see it go. It wasn’t the most emotionally exciting for me (stress likes to ruin the mood), but I had a few good days though. I attended my first HarperCollins Canada Frenzy Presents, which was a big step for my blog. And I met so many great Canadian bloggers. And I went to my third FanExpo.

With everything else in my life, I’ve been steadily raising my Goodreads Challenge and getting out of the red. But I’m rather freaked out over my September TBR list. I think the new month will be a killer!

So let’s get to the post, yes?

Enjoy the read!
