Top Ten Tuesday | Books I Meant to Read In 2018 but Didn’t Get To

I never thought one of my posts would make me feel guilty over not reading enough books. But here I am. 😂

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. For this week’s prompt, we get to talk about books we wanted to read last year but never got to them.

This week, I’m keeping my list short. I hope you all enjoy!

Top Ten Tuesday | 2019 Books I’m Anticipating the Most

Okay, I’ll admit: I made this list much smaller than it truly is. I wouldn’t be surprised if it balloons to more than 30 books. I may want to reign in my TBR list, but I doubt I’ll tackle that task in my lifetime.

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. For the next topic, we show off our anticipated reads of the first half of 2019. So my list may be short, but at least I won’t keep you here for forever. 😉

I hope you enjoy my picks. And I can’t wait to see what you choose for your list!

Top Ten Tuesday | Best Books I Loved Reading in 2018

Happy New Year, book fam!

I cannot wait to see what 2019 has in store for all of us. Who else is excited? I am. And I’ve already filled up my yearly TBR list, which may be well over 50 books.

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. For my first post of 2019, we highlight the best books of 2018.

Empire of Storms

I haven’t moved past this book. It broke me, and I am still healing. I regret not reading the series sooner. I went into Sarah’s ACOTAR before this one, but I feel so connected to each character, especially Aelin.

Lifel1k3

THIS BOOK. THESE CHARACTERS. THIS AUTHOR. He is a god, and I am a measly mortal who doesn’t deserve this gorgeous and out-of-this-world sci-fi. Androids wanting to kill their maker will always be my favourite storyline.

The Cruel Prince

I hate but love Cardan, but he is a conflicted character who has never seen kindness in Faerie. But with Jude and Cardan, I am an instant Holly fan. But what seals my fate is how she write a beautiful plot twist.

This Fallen Prey

When Kelley detoured into mystery and thriller stories, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I never should have doubted my one of my favourite authors. Even though the third addition in the Rockton series was a bit predictable, I love this atmospheric novel.

Warcross

You all know I rarely read sci-fi. But Warcross makes me want to dabble in that genre more. Emika is one of favourite and the most relatable character I’ve read. But what I love the most is the world building. It far exceeds itself. And I want to immerse myself in Warcross.

Top Ten Tuesday | Books I Wish Were under my Christmas Tree

Merry Christmas, everyone!!!

It’s here! And I am just as giddy as a child when Christmas has arrived. But the 29-year-old in me wants nothing more than to sleep in, but my Mom and I will never get the bird in the oven in time unless we open the presents early. Priorities, right? Right?!

Since I make a list (and check it twice 😉), I already know which books are under my tree. So I want to put my personal spin on this week’s topic. I couldn’t grab all the books I hoped to buy because a postal strike killed my shopping plans. So here are my top picks of books I wish were under my Christmas tree.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy Holidays! 🎄

Top Ten Tuesday | My Winter 2018 TBR

Morning, book fam,

I honestly believe my TBR list will never end, especially with all the books already on it, not including the ones I haven’t added yet.

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. For the second last topic of December, we show off our Winter TBR pile. I could add more. I should probably list more since I have so many on my shelves, but I don’t want to freak myself out. 😂 I shouldn’t say that. Holiday break starts this week, so I’ll have plenty of time to catch up. Book binge, shall we?!

So I hope you love my choices. Have fun!

Top Ten Tuesday | Best Books to Read during the Christmas Holiday

Honestly, I am loving this month. And with each post, I get more excited to spend Christmas with my family (especially my bookish fam!) and friends!

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. Last week, we listed all of our favourite winter-themed books, which got me wondering which ones I’d love to read while snowed in during the Christmas holiday. Since this week’s topic is a freebie, I thought that idea would be a wonderful choice.

I hope you enjoy my post!

Top Ten Tuesday | Cozy/Wintry Reads

It’s finally December. And Blogmas, or some variation of it, is upon us bloggers. So what’s better than the first winter-themed TTT post?

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. Today’s theme is cozy/wintry reads. I’m not a huge cozy reader. I typically stick with the whimsical, fantasy, and thriller storylines. So I’ve pondered what I’d do for this week’s post. But these 7 books came to mind when I was writing it. I hope you all enjoy!

Top Ten Tuesday | Thankful Freebie

Hey, book nerds!

We have just one more Top Ten Tuesday before December rolls up, and I cannot believe how the time has flown by! Clearly, my Thanksgiving has passed. But I never wrote a thankful post. So I’ve remedied that error.

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. Today’s theme is Thanksgiving/thankful freebie! As a blogger, maybe I don’t appreciate everything that has come along on this journey. Even though I’ve been blogging for more than two years, I’m still learning and evolving as a blogger. And I’m surprised that I’m still here.

So without much delay, I’ve picked the top five reasons why I’m thankful. I struggled with what I wanted to include in my list, but I hope you like it! So yes, this post may get a little sappy. Be warned! 😉
