Top Ten Tuesday | Book Titles that Would Make Great Song Titles

Happy Tuesday, bloggers!

I haven’t posted anything until October. But this topic sparked my interest, so I’m back with a new post!

Top Ten Tuesday, originally created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, is a weekly meme. The next prompt is book titles that would make great song titles.

Enjoy the post.

The Silvered Serpents

I love alliteration, especially when it involves book titles. It definitely plays into songwriting as well.

Renegades

I love single-worded titles. They aren’t hard to forget, and they always roll off the tongue. What I love about this title is that many bands could use it.

From Blood and Ash

I think this title would work rather well with a darker song.

All Hail

Ugh, I love Bree’s work. Her Hannaford Prep series is one of my top favourites. So it’s fitting to have her next book on my list. This title could work for any type of song.

Fury

This title may be short and a single word, yet it works for many lyrics. It could be sad, angry, or passionate.

  1. I love that cover for All Hail! And you’re so right! That would be such a badass song title and I can just see some solo female singer with a black leather jacket and red lips (kind of like the girl on the cover) with a guitar just rocking out while singing that song or something like that! This was a great list of choices!

  2. I haven’t read any of these, but “Renegades” sounds like SUCH a good song title! It is pulling me in as a book title for sure!

  3. Great list! “Renegades” is actually a song by X Ambassadors and I started singing it as soon as I saw it on your list. I can’t believe I forgot that one when I made my TTT this week, which was book titles that ARE song titles. 😉
