Morning, lovely bloggers!
Christmas is quickly approaching. I’ve been all over the place lately, and I need to catch up on everything, especially blogging (I apologize for the future attack on your blog feed, which will soon be blowing up). So thankfully, my holiday break has officially started, and it’s definitely needed.
I found this great tag on Kristin Kraves Books. You’re missing out if you haven’t visited her blog, so head over there now!
Anticipation | The Christmas excitement is real. What book release are you most anticipating?
I don’t have just one. These three releases are at the top of the list. I need more Nikolai, Cardan, and Jules in my life!
Christmas Songs and Carols | What book or author can you not help but sing its praises?
I can’t help but gush over Marissa. My bestie Beth convinced me to read her first series, and I haven’t looked back since. Her writing lets me escape all the stresses of life, and I adore her real and well-thought-out characters.
Gingerbread Houses | What book or series has wonderful world building?
I was worried I wouldn’t love the sequel to Renegades, which somewhat disappointed me. But Archenemies has vastly improved my impression of the series. And I love the internal battle Nova faces.
A Christmas Carol | Favorite classic or one that you want to read
I hope one day that I’ll find an original copy so I can read the book in its truest form. But this book is one of my favourite Christmas stories.
Christmas Sweets | What book would you love to receive for Christmas
I have read many favouring reviews from trusted bloggers, so this book is definitely on my TBR list.
Candles in the Window | What book gives you that warm fuzzy feeling?
Hello there, Mr. Darcy. I can’t stop raving about this classic. Every time I read it, I fall in love with it all over again.
Christmas Trees and Decorations | What are some of your favorite book covers?
With all these new, gorgeous covers, I’ll see the death of my bank account in 2019. But I don’t care. JUST LOOK AT THEM.
Christmas Joy | What are some of your favorite things about Christmas and/or some of your favorite Christmas memories?
My Mom started a family tradition where we open a few gifts on Christmas Eve. Typically, we receive Christmas pajamas, a new ornament, a movie, hot chocolate, and sweets. This tradition may be small to some people, but I love it more every year.
Tag Time!
You know the drill. And you don’t need to be tagged in order to do this tag. So don’t let that stop you. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!

I love your Christmas tradition. But then again I love PJs, ornaments and Hot Choc… so I may be biased 😉 Thanks for the tag!
And yes a first edition Christmas Carol would be divine. On my most wanted list is any first or early edition copy of any Austen book (though P and P would be my preference). I had to widen the scope a bit 😉
